Initiatives (register)
The persistent list of every AI initiative in your organisation.
What it is
The Register is the durable memory of Governance Fabric. Every AI system you assess, whether proposed, in build, or in production, has a permanent record here. Trust Score, CALIBRE band, ARA residual risk, and lifecycle stage are all persisted per initiative.
When to use
- Before starting any new AI project: check the Register to see whether a similar initiative exists.
- Before an audit: the Register is your evidence that every AI system is tracked.
- During a regulator visit: filter or search the Register to demonstrate coverage.
- For portfolio reviews: sort by Trust Score, CALIBRE band, or evidence coverage.
Walk-through
- 1Click Initiatives in the sidebar.
- 2You see one row per initiative with ID, name, owner, trust score, verdict.
- 3Click any row to open the detail page with the full CALIBRE assessment, actions, findings, and decision narrative.
Common pitfalls
- Deleting sample initiatives thinking they clutter the view; instead, filter by ID prefix.
- Not maintaining Owner and Sponsor fields; regulators expect named accountability.
- Treating the Register as a static list; re-assess quarterly or on material change.
